Rapper Lil Wayne has come under fire for leaving a performance early because he seemed to be getting impatient with the audience’s apparent lack of excitement.

At the end of his Welcome To Tha Carter tour, the 40-year-old performer—real nаme Dwayne Carter—cut short the performance in Los Angeles, California, apparently after barely 30 minutes on stage.

Attendees reported on social media that Wayne had entered the stage at LA’s Wiltern Theatre more than an hour after his planned 9 p.m. start time.

Wayne brought out a number of signees from his Young Money Records label imprint, including Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas, after performing a couple songs with special guest 2 Chainz.

Then, according to HipHopDX, he allegedly exited the stage when Cubas started playing one of his own songs. Wayne stepped out to address the crowd before Cubas could start his second performance.

In a video that was taken by a fan and posted to social media, he is heard saying, “We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks.” “We put in too much effort for this. We put in far too much work.

The artists departed the stage at this point. The house lights came on a few minutes later.
